About Steve
Click apply to start the adoption process. Steve is an old gentle soul wrapped in a puppy's body, capturing hearts wherever he goes. At nearly two years old and weighing about 50lbs, he has already overcome so much, coming from a background where he lacked proper care and attention. Despite a tough start, Steve is making great progress with house training and learning to put his trust in people. He enjoys his daily walks, responds well to the leash, and once he feels comfortable, absolutely adores being gently petted and given attention. His favorite pastimes include snuggling with his blanket, squeaking his toys, and savoring his treats. Steve recently had corrective entropia eye surgery and is recovering wonderfully. He is neutered and has shown that he gets along very well with other dogs, having happily lived with four of them, including a smaller pup. Around children, Steve is gentle and patient, though he appreciates a little time to settle in and warm up to new friends. He will thrive in a home that can provide the patience and loving environment he deserves as he continues to come out of his shell and enjoy family life. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
