Meet Tucker – Your Big, Goofy Bestfriend Approx. DOB: 2020 | Weight: ~60 lbs | Neutered Male Tucker is a handsome, husky mix with a heart just as big as his paws! Tucker is a sweet, playful, and smart boy who just wants to love and be loved. Tucker came to us through no fault of his own. His former owner said he had “gotten too big”, but we think his size just means there’s more of him to love. Just like that, Tucker lost his home, his routine, and his person. But in true Tucker fashion — tail wagging and heart wide open — he bounced into our lives ready for a fresh start. And wow, what a joy he is. Tucker’s personality shines the moment you meet him—he’s silly, affectionate, and absolutely adores treats (which makes training fun and rewarding!). Tucker is goofy in all the best ways — the kind of dog who can make you laugh even on your worst day. Whether he’s prancing around with a toy in his mouth or wiggling with excitement when you walk by, his playful energy is contagious. This boy LOVES toys, almost more than treats (and he really loves treats!). Tucker is also incredibly smart and eager to please. He’s currently working on not jumping up when he gets excited — and he’s making great progress! With a little continued training and structure, he’s going to shine even brighter. With his soft, shiny coat and even softer heart, Tucker is as handsome on the outside as he is inside. He’s done well meeting other dogs here at the rescue, but as always, a meet-and-greet is required to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.
