Eli is a 2-and-a-half-year-old, 45 lb house- and crate-trained Jack Russell/Pit mix who absolutely adores his humans. Always eager to be part of the action, he makes an ideal walking or jogging buddy, a trusty car co-pilot, and a devoted nap companion at your feet, ready for snuggles by bedtime. Eli gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in an active home where playtime and cuddles are in abundance. While he is wonderful with teens and steady kids, his enthusiasm and impressive jumping skills make him better suited for families without tiny totsβhe might get a bit too excited and knock little ones over. A secure yard or a watchful eye is important, as he loves visiting neighbors and showing off his affectionate personality.
