About Horizon
Horizon is a two-year-old Great Pyrenees who has spent over six months waiting for her chance after being rescued from a rural shelter. She's endured a rough medical journey—facing a dangerous spay complication, a near-fatal bout of pneumonia, and later emergency surgery after swallowing a plastic ball. Despite all this, Horizon’s bright spirit never dimmed. She is outgoing, playful, and social—she delights in the company of people and dogs alike, always ready for any activity from hikes to cozy movie nights. Horizon thrives on adventure and would do best in an active household committed to including her in their fun. Her ideal adopters must already have a dog, as she absolutely needs a canine friend, and their property must be securely fenced at least six feet high. Horizon’s enthusiasm for life is matched only by her sweetness. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
