About Willie
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet William Church — or Willie for short! This handsome, energetic boy has a heartbreaking past but a bright future ahead. Willie was abandoned at a church in a wire crate, covered in filth with no food or water. Despite what he’s been through, he’s still full of love and trust for people. At around 1 1⁄2 years old, this heeler/pit mix has the signature heeler energy, intelligence, and drive — plus the sweetest cuddle-loving pittie side when it’s time to relax. His stunning markings and beautiful coloring make him just as striking on the outside as he is on the inside. Willie thrives with activity and needs an active family who can keep up with his zest for life: think runs, hikes, and endless games of fetch. Because of his high energy, Willie is best in a home without small children. With his high energy level, he can be overwhelming for some dogs and does better with a slow introduction. If you’re looking for a loyal, adventurous companion who will keep you moving and love you with his whole heart, Willie might just be your perfect match. Willie is a very sweet, fun loving boy with the energy of a Heeler and the affection of a pittie! He is great with kids and LOVES to run and play fetch in the yard. Willie needs an active family that can take him hiking, camping and on regular walks. As a fun bonus, Willie was born July 1st, making him a Cancer—dogs with this sun sign are often deeply loyal and loving with their chosen people! Give them the home they have been waiting for.
