About Kraken
Krakenâs story started in a cardboard box along a back road, dumped by someone who didnât care much for what happened next. He and his siblings were scared, sick, and frozen until luck landed their box in the path of a humane agent who stopped to help. The shelter team pulled them in, treated every sniffle, warmed them up, and gave Kraken his first taste of gentle care. His siblings have gradually been adopted, while Kraken and his sister Mermaid are still waiting at just 7 months old. Like a lot of brown tabbies, Kraken is somehow overlooked, though heâs a classicâaffectionate, playful, and loyal, with a dash of resilience that sticks once you meet him. Kraken is completely vetted: neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, cleared for FeLV/FIV, and dewormed. Everything youâd want in a companion, just looking for the right family to make him feel chosen.
