Meet Josie and her sister Jazz, two bonded beauties who have waited patiently in foster care for over two years. Josie came to rescue as a feral kitten and, with slow and steady progress, has grown into a sweet, affectionate cat in her own way. She’s still on the shy side, preferring attention on her terms, but once she’s comfortable, she marches right up with a meow, headbutts anything in her path, and flashes her belly in greeting. Josie is not likely to become a lap cat, but she’s happiest close by her people, soaking up their presence and letting you know she trusts you. She and Jazz are inseparable—they greet each other with headbutts, stick together, and help each other be brave. Josie is looking for a patient adopter who’ll let her adjust at her own pace. She thrives with other cats, especially confident ones, and would do best in a home where she and Jazz can continue to blossom.
