About Dorothy
Meet Dorothy, a charming brown tabby rescued from a colony near Bloomfield and North Oakland. At just 7 months old, she became a mother, but she's now ready to embrace life indoors with a bit of patience. Over the past ten months in her foster home, Dorothy has shown remarkable growth. She was once a timid cat, hesitant to trust, but she now greets her foster with enthusiasm, and she'll nuzzle against you—if she’s in the mood. Despite her initial wariness, Dorothy's sweet nature shines through. She’s playful and bubbly, showing off her inner kitten with every wand toy and tunnel she encounters. Dorothy has a nurturing side, often playing the matriarch to other cats, teaching them boundaries through gentle swats. She needs a home with fellow felines, where she can enjoy their company and continue to blossom. A calm and patient environment will help her thrive, giving her the time to fully feel safe and secure. Dorothy is about 4 years old, spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Her adoption fee is waived, making her a perfect companion for the right home. Every animal deserves loving companionship; let’s make her next chapter a wonderful one.
