Bridger
AvailableBridger is a large, long-coated, black German Shepherd Dog/Chow Chow mix currently seeking a loving home through OceanRay Rescue. This adult male is both house trained and crate trained, and he has been neutered with his vaccinations up to date. Though his left ear requires regular care due to a previous injury, he is a resilient and affectionate companion.
About Bridger
This could be the start of something paw-some. Bridger is a big, loving guy who takes a little time to get comfortable in new situations and with unfamiliar people. He has spent time in foster care with a toddler and another dog, showing a gentle side and adapting well to a family setting, but is currently in boarding awaiting a new foster or forever home. When Bridger was first rescued, he was recovering from a gunshot wound to his left ear, which led to chronic infections. After successful surgery, his ear requires ongoing care with drops and cleaning to ensure it stays healthy and to prevent any further issues. His gentle nature shines through as he knows how to sit, takes treats politely, and is crate trained. Bridger was previously house trained and will need some patience and consistency to reacclimate to a home environment, as boarding has disrupted his routine. He loves spending time outdoors and does particularly well meeting other dogs off leash in calm, controlled situations. Once he is familiar, he enjoys walking on leash alongside them. Born on July 11, Bridger is a caring Cancer—a sun sign known for loyalty and nurturing tendencies. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
