About Chonkey Kong
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Chonky Kong, the king of cuddles and churru! This big-hearted senior, nearly 10 years old, found his way to the Ohio SPCA & Humane Society after facing illness as a stray. With plenty of love, hearty meals, and some well-deserved TLC, Chonky Kong has bounced back and is now ready to find a forever home where he can rule in comfort. Chonky Kong is FIV-positive (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). This isn't something to fear—FIV is a slow-acting virus that can weaken a cat's immune system over time, but with attentive care, regular vet visits, good nutrition, and a calm, indoor life, FIV-positive cats can live happy, fulfilling lives. Chonky can even share a home with other friendly cats, as FIV is not easily passed between felines unless deep bite wounds occur. His favorite things include luxurious naps, belly and head rubs, and (most importantly!) savory churru treats. Chonky is all about gentle companionship, soft cozy beds, and enjoying his golden years in a peaceful, loving space. He may be a senior, but his heart is as playful as a kitten’s and his appetite as grand as his name suggests. Bring this loving, chunky gentleman home and give him the retirement full of snacks, sunny windows, and the affection he deserves. If you’re an early Pisces, you might already know that Chonky Kong is quite the intuitive snuggler, living up to his sun sign’s gentle and affectionate reputation! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
