About Peter
Peter is a sweet 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier with a gentle spirit and a bit of a unique perspective on life. Deaf and with some visual impairment, Peter does things his own way, but greets the world with resilience and a loving heart. He recently came back to the adoption center after some tension with his adopter's other dog, through no fault of his own. Peter really thrives in a calm, structured environment, preferably as the only pet or with a genuinely laid-back companion. Homes without cats are a must for him, and he’ll need a little patience as he settles into a new routine. All the essentials are taken care of: Peter is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He’s looking for someone who gets his quirks and is ready to offer a steady, understanding home. Give this guy a little time and care and you’ll have a fiercely loyal friend by your side.
