About Santos
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Santos! He is a 3-year-old schnauzer/husky mix with a sweet, goofy personality who truly loves being around his humans. Loves to play outside and especially enjoys a game of fetch, though he is still perfecting his ball-retrieval technique. Santos already knows his "sit" command and is extremely food motivated, but would benefit from additional training to sharpen his skills. Weighing in at about 50 pounds, he sometimes forgets his own size—he might jump up or get mouthy, but he is very responsive to corrections and is eager to learn with patient, positive reinforcement. Ideal for a home with an experienced dog owner who can provide gentle guidance, boundaries, and consistency. Santos is a smart boy with tons of potential. While he gets along well with submissive, smaller dogs and is completely fine with cats, he will thrive best in an adult-only home. Santos is full grown and ready to find his perfect match. Fun fact: Santos is a Leo—he’s loyal, affectionate, and sure to brighten your days with his sunny personality! Our adoptions are limited to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles, with in-person meet-and-greets required for approved applicants. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
