About Ellie
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! When Ellie was rescued as a stray kitten, she was very wary of humans and needed some time to learn to trust. Once she realized she was safe, she blossomed into the sweet girl she is today! Ellie loves to be pet and cuddles up on laps of the people she trusts, though it may take some time to get to that level of trust with her. She is an intelligent and playful cat, her favorite activities are solving treat puzzles and chasing around her favorite toys. Ellie is a quick learner and has recently found a love for clicker training! She would do best with a family that is willing to provide her with daily enrichment activities to keep her from getting bored. Though she has made enormous progress since she arrived, Ellie is still a bit sensitive so she will need an adopter who understands feline body language and knows to give her space when she is feeling afraid or overwhelmed. Fun fact: Because Ellie was born on June 7, she is a Gemini! Geminis are known for their curiosity, charm, and intelligence—all qualities that fit Ellie beautifully. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
