About Jade

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Jade, a very sweet, 1 1/2-year-old black Lab mix with a heart full of love. At a perfect medium size of about 55 pounds, she greets every morning with wagging enthusiasm and always brightens the day of the humans around her. Jade was once a stray caring for six puppies as well as an orphaned pup, and now she's ready to start her next chapter since her puppies have all found homes. Jade enjoys her favorite toys like her unicorn and Lambchop and is always excited for a game of fetch—even if she's still working on the 'bring it back' part! She displays wonderful house manners and is house-trained, takes treats gently, and knows how to sit and wait for her meals. Spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, Jade is healthy and ready for her forever home. While Jade loves people dearly, she can be quite selective about her canine companions. She often watches other dogs play but finds it hard to trust them, needing close monitoring around other dogs and would prefer to be an only dog in her new home. With some patient training, she might gain more confidence, but a single-dog household where she can soak up all the love and attention would suit her best. Her adoption fee is just $60 thanks to a generous $75 sponsorship already paid. If you're looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who's happiest as your one and only, Jade could be the perfect match. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
