About Jax
Jax packs a lot of personality into his sturdy frame. This Shepsky, 3 to 4 years old and about 70 lbs, brushed up against the worst luck a shelter dog can have—but he came out the other side with only one less leg and a lot more gratitude. Jax lost his limb to an old injury but is now completely pain-free and doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. These days, he’s running 2Ks and soaking up life. People and dogs are in for a warm greeting from Jax wherever he goes. He’s got a gentle and social side that makes him a natural at group outings, city walks, or just hanging with friends in the park. You can feel his easy-going, thankful energy as soon as he walks into the room. He’ll blend right in with a dog crew or stand happily as someone’s only companion. Jax does not get along with cats but is friendly with other dogs and is house trained, making him an easy fit for many homes. He’s proof a second chance dog can become a best friend. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
