The loss of Pebbles' beloved owner shook her world, but her owner had provided that she'd always have a safe place to land with us. We've kept that promise. Our vets discovered elevated liver enzymes which they are treating with medication that she easily laps up in her food. This is a covered medical condition, at cost through our Pet Health Centers. Aware that she was never completely comfortable living with other cats, we secured her the quietest spot to process all the changes she's endured. Time and patience prove to be beautiful tools to help her see her true potential. While she is always trepidatious about new situations, possibly due to her poor hearing, familiar humans offering her treats and gentle encouragement are enough to add a brightness to her eyes that had been missing when she first arrived. We want Pebbles to feel completely secure in her next home. One with experienced, loving and patient adults who'll continue to relish providing her comfort in small ways as we have, will lead Pebbles to a bliss uniquely her own.
