About Twila
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Twila – the gentle soul with extra toes and extra love to give. Twila is a beautiful, short-haired gray lady with a quiet presence and an endearing secret: she's polydactyl on all four feet! Her charming mitten-like paws make her truly unique. At around 4 years old, Twila is a mellow and plump companion who delights in the simple joys of life, such as a cozy spot to retreat to, delicious meals, and the quiet comfort of a peaceful environment. With her mild, shy nature, Twila won’t be the first to greet you, but given time, patience, and kindness, she’ll start to open up. This sweet cat needs an adopter who understands the art of gentle encouragement and is willing to let her reveal her loving nature at her own pace. Fortunately, Twila is motivated by food—canned meals and Churus are her favorites—which can help you build trust and strengthen your bond. Twila is an excellent companion for other cats and would likely flourish in a home with a calm feline friend or two. She’s comfortable around gentle dogs who respect her space and older, cat-savvy children who know that sometimes love means waiting quietly until she’s ready for attention. While Twila may never seek the spotlight, in the right home she will become a loyal and gentle friend, offering a special kind of affection that is truly rewarding for those willing to let her shine in her own time. If your heart is drawn to shy companions and you have the patience to nurture a quiet spirit, Twila could be your perfect match. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
