What are you waiting for? Apply today! Cannoli is a delightful 6-year-old French Bulldog who makes everyone smile with her personality. She is easily managed and thrives in a loving environment. When it comes to mealtime, Cannoli prefers to eat separately in her crate since she gets a little wild about her food, but in other settings, she can dine alongside other dogs. Her true passion is toys—especially balls! She will happily play fetch outdoors all day and could easily overexert herself, so she needs someone who can help her take breaks to avoid overheating. She gets along well with other dogs and is usually found running and playing with them, though her love for toys sometimes means she gets so focused, it can be tricky to take one away from her. While adults have no trouble redirecting her, homes with children may not be the best fit, as her toy enthusiasm may lead to accidental nips if someone grabs her toy mid-play. Cannoli does have a slightly stiff running style with her back legs, which has been checked by the shelter vet and may be related to a disc issue. This doesn't currently bother her, but, as is common with her breed, it could be something to keep an eye on in the future. She's a little stubborn but responds great to corrections.
