About Johnny

Johnny came into our care about two years ago, and he’s now around 5 years old. Affectionately known as “Fat Chi,” he adores food and is always eager to snack on just about anything. He’s a true snuggle bug who loves being close to his people. While he gets along with other dogs, Johnny might be best as the only pet as he can become defensive if he feels threatened, even around much larger dogs. He barks occasionally but is not overly vocal. Johnny enjoys car rides and is ready to tag along anytime! After undergoing luxating patella surgery on both hind legs soon after arriving at the rescue, he’s recovered well and is ready to find his forever home. If you’re a Chihuahua lover looking for a sweet, cuddly companion with a big personality, Johnny could be your perfect match!
