Raisin
AvailableRaisin is a small, adult male mixed breed dog currently in Ramona, CA. He is house trained and has been neutered, making him a good candidate for an adopter looking for a dog with some manners already in place. Raisin has made great progress with people thanks to ongoing training and patience.
About Raisin
Raisin came into rescue from a challenging situation where he'd had little contact with people, arriving alongside his companion Scout after a hoarding case. Since then, Raisin has been slowly learning to relax thanks to patient and consistent handling. Heโs crate trained and has a gentle approach to treats, never showing food aggression, and enjoys having space to run. Change can be hard for Raisinโhe takes time to settle and can become stressed if pushed too quickly. His ideal future is one where he and Scout are rehomed together, supporting each other through new experiences. Adopters in San Diego County must attend training sessions to build trust, while those outside the area need to work with a pre-approved trainer. Positive reinforcement and a Fear Free philosophy are required for Raisin's continued progress. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
