Princess Peach is a striking 7-year-old calico with a thick, medium coat, searching for a patient home that will look after her specific needs. She ended up in a busy animal control facility and went through some stressful changes, but she’s proved to be a survivor, settling into foster care with cautious optimism. Princess Peach manages her diabetic risk with a strict low-carb, dry diet—she isn’t a fan of wet food, so freeze-dried or diabetic-friendly kibble is her path to better health. She could benefit from losing a bit of weight, and she’ll need someone prepared to help her stay on track. Her ideal environment is quiet, with her as the only cat. Dogs are fine as long as they respect her space. She doesn’t care for crowded animal homes and finds lots of activity stressful. At night, she loves nothing more than curling up on a pillow or next to her person’s head, soaking in companionship on her own terms. She seeks affection, especially head, neck, and chin scratches, though she prefers to be left alone elsewhere.
