😌 Calm

Chubs is a small, 14-year-old male domestic short hair cat who is neutered and vaccinated. He currently lives in Bourbonnais, IL, and is adapting to indoor life after coming from a semi-feral background. This senior boy is ready for a new chapter in a caring home.

About Chubs

Chubs came to the rescue after spending years in a semi-feral colony before testing positive for FIV. Thanks to Karen Hemza's hard work, he was trapped, neutered, and brought to a safer place. At 14, he’s experienced, weathered, and has seen more than most house cats. He’s working on settling into life indoors after a life on the outskirts, and is starting to appreciate the quieter comforts. Chubs has had all his shots and the hard stuff is behind him—he’s looking for a quiet corner and a gentle touch. Fun fact: With a birthday on April 12, Chubs is an Aries, so he’s got a streak of independence and courage built right in. Start your journey together! Apply now.
