Wenkenbach, lovingly called "Winkie," is a resilient black and white tuxedo kitten with a natural knack for adaptation. Born at the end of August, she lost her vision as a baby due to severe eye infections, but that hasn’t slowed her down. She navigates her world confidently—finding her litter box, food, and toys with ease and even making impressive jumps from surface to surface. Wenkenbach is sweet-natured and happiest when curled up in your arms. She’s curious, learns quickly, and enjoys both affectionate cuddles and play sessions. Despite her blindness, she does everything a young cat should, and every day she picks up a little more. She gets along with other cats and would benefit from feline companionship, whether in a home with an existing cat or with a friend, like her buddy Brady who’s also available for adoption locally. Wenkenbach is looking for a special adopter who will cherish her uniqueness and provide a safe, loving environment. She’s a gentle spirit who proves daily how capable she is and how much love she has to give. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
