Sammy
AvailableSammy is a 3 year and 10 month old neutered male Tabby with a large frame, sporting a brown, chocolate-tinted short coat. He’s house trained, vaccinated, and currently in New Albany, OH. Sammy lives with special needs, but remains full of affection and character.
About Sammy
Sammy has waited months for a real home. He’s a big, lovable guy—more cat to cuddle. Sammy is especially affectionate, confident, and laid back, and he’s always up for lounging or goofing around. His foster appreciates his quirky habit of sitting with his hind legs stretched out, and Sammy’s also game for harness walks, which he actually enjoys. Sammy is both FIV and FeLV positive, which many people misunderstand. These are immune system viruses that don't affect people or dogs and are mostly a concern for other cats. Sammy can live with FeLV-vaccinated cats, with another FeLV cat, or as a solo cat. With correct care, Sammy can expect years of good health, just like any other young and healthy cat. He’s hoping someone will see past the diagnosis and recognize how much love and character he’ll bring home. He gets along with kids and would do especially well with someone who wants a partner for walks, laughs, and cuddles. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
