About O'Malley
O'Malley is in the finishing stretch of his Puppies 4 Parole program and will be ready for adoption in mid-August. He's a young pointer mix who has bounced back from a tough start, finding his stride with Needy Paws and a dedicated foster. He gets along great with his canine foster siblings and even enjoys time with the resident cat. O'Malley is fully housebroken and crate trained, though he’s only crated for meals due to a tendency to chew when anxious. This pup has the usual energy of a baby pointer, happiest with a fenced yard and another dog to play with. He’d thrive with someone home most of the day but does fine left alone for a few hours. He walks well on leash but can get carried away and jump up to greet people—his fosters are working on manners. With a soft spot for everyone he meets, O'Malley is always ready for affection and connection. Adopters should live within an hour's drive of St. Louis, MO. Home visits and reference checks are standard before finalizing any placement. O'Malley’s looking for a family willing to match his enthusiasm and care. Your new best friend is just one click away.
