About Sirloin

This huge, handsome 1-year-old boy was rescued with his littermates and parents after being found as a stray behind a steakhouse in Indiana. He has been living with his loving foster home for over a year while awaiting adoption. Sirloin has had a long road to being ready, and is yearning for a loving home! How could you say no to this cute face?! Sirloin is a survivor! While he was in foster care, he overcame FIP, a very serious viral disease. Due to the long duration of medical procedures that contributed to his recovery, Sirloin is now a bit timid. Before his diagnosis, he was a lap cat and a love bug who would let his identical twin sister, Clambake, snuggle up beside him. He’s still a little bit wary of people due to the treatments he’s experienced, but his fosters are confident that he’ll return right to his affectionate, trusting self once he finds the right home with a patient family. Sirloin loves exploring in the screened-in back porch of his foster home. He loves receiving cat treats every night and spending lots of time with his giant orange foster kitty brother. He has had some clicker training and is very treat motivated. He has had a lot of experience living with other cats, both big and small, and even gets along well with a German Shepherd. He has been through a lot and is now ready for a life of love and comfort! Want to help care for him while he waits to find his forever home? You can be a "Sponsor!" Click on the "sponsor" button on this profile and your one-time donation will be used for vital everyday essentials such as his food, litter and medical care! Thank you for helping save lives!
