About Daphne & Violet
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Daphne and Violet are two irresistible 2-year-old girls who crave a loving and patient home. While their sweet souls have never been mean, they remain shy from their time as strays, with nearly a year and a half spent learning to trust at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. Slowly but surely, they're discovering the safety and comfort they deserve. Together as a devoted bonded pair, they seek reassurance in each other's company—often found huddled close, providing mutual comfort during uncertain moments. Both cats are shy, but you’ll notice how they watch the world from their tower, appearing ready to accept affection, hinting that their hearts are waiting to open up for the right adopter. These beautiful ladies—Daphne with classic black and white coloring and Violet in lovely gray and white—require a quiet home with space to adjust, set their boundaries, and learn that life outside of a cage can be filled with patience and love. Anyone who gives them a chance should be ready to commit to a gentle, unhurried approach, understanding that gaining their affection will take time but yield unmatched reward. They must go home together, as each brings the other comfort and courage. Please consider giving them the opportunity to blossom in their own time and at their own pace. They truly deserve the loving future you can provide. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
