About Ivy
EMAIL TO ADOPT: Brentwoodkittyfoster@gmail.com Ivy- Independent Beauty My name is Ivy. Don’t you think I’m beautiful with my multicolored coat? I lived most of my life on the streets of Nashville. It was very scary! As you can see, I even lost part of my ear!! I’m no spring chicken; the vet says I’m about 11 years old. Even though I’m considered a senior, I love to chase my mouse wand toys. Nothing’s better than a good game of cat and mouse!! I also love to figure out puzzles. My foster mom says I’m a very smart girl. I’m also a girlie girl because I like being brushed. When you’re at work you don’t have to worry about me. Once I finish my morning play timeplaying chase with my mouse wand toy, I’m ready to settle down for a snooze. I spend most of the day looking out the window from my comfy cat tree. When I want a change of pace, I take a nap on my heated pad. I’m happy in a quiet home. Sudden movements and noises startle me. Initially I am shy with strangers but will start to trust friends and family who visit often. It takes time to earn my trust, but once you do, I will love you forever. Ask my foster Mom. I even give her kisses!! I’ll let you know when I don’t like something. I don’t like being held or carried, but I do like to sit next to my foster Mom. I purr and purr and purr. You may have noticed I’m special needs. That’s because I am FIV+/FeLV+. That means I have a compromised immune system. Because of that, it’s better for me to be the only cat. Plus, I like being the center of attention. I also have high blood pressure and allergies. I take medication every day. But I’m a very good girl with oral medication. My foster Mom mixes it in a little bit of chicken baby food and I lick it right off her finger!! Want to learn more about me? My foster Mom can answer any questions you may have.
