Not all dogs come into the store each day so please start with an application. Meet Gecko Gecko's story is one of survival, love, and second chances. This brave mama was live-trapped after she kept sneaking into a chicken coop for fresh dinners — and just a week after arriving at the shelter, she gave birth to nine beautiful puppies in April 2025. We don't know much about her past, but we do know this: Gecko is incredibly loyal once she trusts you. She's slow to warm up at first, but once she's yours, she's all in. She enjoys going for walks, rides calmly in the car, and is house trained when she goes out with other dogs. Gecko weighs about 37 pounds and would do best in a calm, understanding home — one without small children, cats, or livestock. She might need a couple of visits to get comfortable, but when she opens her heart, she'll give it fully.
