Ruby is a purebred German Shepherd from Pittsburg, CA, weighing around 70 lbs and about 4 to 4 1/2 years old. She grew up in a loving family with two teenage boys and her brother Tiger, but when life got too busy, her family made the difficult choice to seek a new home for her. Despite the change, Ruby has remained gentle and very sweet. She is mellow, quiet, and handles herself well indoors. Long walks and car rides are some of her favorite activities. Ruby is dog tolerant and has shown a gentle side with kids. She is housebroken, too. However, she does have some separation anxiety and will tear up soft or fluffy items if left alone. Ruby does not get along with cats and should go to a cat-free home. She is transitioning with support and is hoping for a new family who will give her the time and love she deserves.
