About Maverick Fka Cedrick

Maverick Fka Cedrick is a Labrador Retriever mix born in January 2020, making him an Aquarius—a sign known for seeking comfort in consistency. He thrives in a steady, quiet home, ideally with a female lead and maybe a female canine companion. Maverick feels safer around women and prefers the company of another dog or cat. Activity is important for him, and he needs a securely fenced backyard with space for play. He loves his jolly ball, but isn’t keen on sharing toys, so a calm eating environment and boundaries around mealtime go a long way. Maverick is crate trained and would do best with someone who works from home or is gone for less than six hours at a time. Patience pays off; once he trusts you, Maverick eagerly soaks up couch snuggles. He may need a little time to get comfortable with new people and surroundings. He is house trained, neutered, and current on vaccinations. All adoptions take place in person in the Omaha, NE, area, with no shipping or delivery available.
