About Pepper
Pepper, a striking Husky mix, has weathered a rough start but is eager to move forward with a loving family. After being left behind in a neighborhood, caring locals watched over her, and she quickly became a favorite—especially among kids, who she absolutely adores. At the shelter, Pepper won hearts with her affectionate and gentle nature. She did experience an incident when another dog attacked her through their shared kennel, but she recovered swiftly and now greets each day with her warm, playful spirit. Currently in foster care down south, Pepper is ready for a new beginning. She's crate trained, rides calmly in the car, and greets her people with plenty of kisses. She prefers human companionship over that of other pets, so she needs to be the only dog and does not do well with cats. No fenced yard is needed—she’s simply looking for a home where love comes first. Pepper is open to a foster or, even better, a foster-to-adopt home, with transport available to bring her north.
