River is a sweet, cuddly senior beagle with a big heart. He’s great with both dogs and cats, getting along comfortably with his foster pups and feline housemate. True to his beagle nature, River has a sharp hound nose for sniffing out every scent, but his gentle and affectionate attitude always comes through. He appears housebroken—no accidents indoors so far. He enjoys time outside, even when the weather’s not warm. At around 10 years old and approximately 20 pounds, he’s currently a bit underweight, but his foster is helping him put on a few pounds.
