About Cody
Cody is a dynamic, cheerful companion who brings a rush of energy wherever he goes. Around three years old and weighing about 32 pounds, Cody arrived at the rescue from animal control. Since then, he’s been eager to connect, soaking up all the attention and affection around him. At the rescue, Cody has had positive experiences meeting other dogs—he’s definitely a social type. If you already have a friendly dog at home, Cody might become their fast friend. Cats are an unknown at this point, and while he hasn’t met children, his strong, playful nature means a home without toddlers would be best. Playfulness is Cody’s default mode. He’s excitable when heading outside and will need someone comfortable handling his leash as he bounces out of his kennel. He’s in training and has already learned commands like ‘sit,’ ‘come,’ and ‘drop it,’ with more skills on the horizon. His potty training is a work in progress, but he’s getting there with a consistent routine. Cody enjoys toys, treats, and especially affection—cuddles and belly rubs after walks are a highlight for him. He’s already neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, ready to move in as your new friend. If you’re looking for a playful, genuinely friendly dog who will reward you with loyalty and enthusiasm, Cody might be your match. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
