About King
What are you waiting for? Apply today! King's story is one of resilience and hope. He was found abandoned in Mower County, left behind in very poor physical condition. Thankfully, a kind person spotted him and ensured he received immediate care at the Austin Vet Clinic. King was malnourished and suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection, but with dedicated veterinary treatment and the support of caring volunteers, he made a remarkable recovery. Now fully recovered, King is a mellow, affectionate two-year-old who is looking for an indoor-only home. He is sweet-natured and ready for a new start with a loving family. King is neutered, has received his vaccinations, and has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. A cat carrier is required for adoption, and the rescue asks that adopters be at least 21 years old. King is waiting at the Mower County Humane Society for the perfect family to help him start his new chapter. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
