Max. Age: 2-3 years old as of 8/2023 Max was left behind in a domestic abuse situation, and the real estate agent found him. The poor baby himself also suffered abuse. The real estate agent took him home and had him evaluated and vetted. She fell in love with Max, but he did not do well her dog, and she desperately rescue help. His current foster took him in, and he has been doing well in foster care since. Max absolutely hates dogs so we suspect that was part of his trauma. He is an absolute love bug with his foster, but he seems wary of men. He loves to have his head scratched but never his back or tail. He sleeps right next to his foster mama every night. While this may seem like a handful, Max will require a patient and understanding family that can help him work through his traumas. Max is FIV/FELV (-), up to date on vaccines, and neutered.
