Max is a medium-sized male Tabby cat with a striking orange tabby coat. He is an adult, has a short coat, and is fully housetrained. Max is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He does not get along with other cats or dogs and is currently looking for a home in East Orange, NJ.

About Max

Max is around 2 to 3 years old and has been through quite a bit. He was abandoned and suffered abuse before being rescued by a real estate agent. She cared for him but couldn’t keep him because Max does not get along with other dogs—a likely result of his past trauma. Now in foster care, Max has been making steady progress. He is deeply affectionate with his foster, sleeping curled up close every night, but he remains wary of men. Max adores head scratches but prefers people leave his back and tail alone. He needs a supportive home willing to move at his pace and help him continue healing. Max is neutered, current on vaccines, and has tested negative for FIV and FELV.
