About Jack

Meet Jack—a big, goofy boy who's been waiting far too long for a real home. At about two and a half years old, Jack has spent most of his life at the Mobile SPCA shelter and hasn't yet had the chance to settle into life outside a kennel. He’s playful and packed with personality. Give him a treat and he’ll probably do a happy dance. Jack loves any excuse to be outside and enjoys romping around during playtime. He's only known shelter life, so everything about living in a house will be new for him. He’ll need someone patient, willing to teach him the basics and help him adjust. Given his background, he gets nervous around children and would be happiest in a home without small kids. Jack isn't keen on sharing space with other dogs and may do best as your only pet. It’s not clear how he feels about cats. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, and genuinely ready for his shot at a forever home. All he wants is a family of his own and the chance to finally understand what it’s like to belong. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
