About Kenzie

This could be the start of something paw-some. Kenzie, once known as MacKenzie, is a lively and healthy neutered male cat who is about 4 years old. He has plenty of energy, often needing one or two play sessions a day to get his zoomies out, but is perfectly content to entertain himself with toys and window views when you're busy. This super talkative guy is not shy about letting you know what he wants, and he loves having company, especially at mealtime. Kenzie adapts well to consistent routines and does best when he's not left alone too long. A big-time cuddler, Kenzie enjoys curling up either on your lap or on a cozy blanket beside you. He’s very considerate—when you’re in work mode with a headset or laptop, he’ll quietly keep you company until you’re free. If his routine changes suddenly or if there are loud noises or unfamiliar guests, he might get agitated and could swipe or bite; similarly, during play, he might get a little carried away with wrestling or pouncing, but he's learning! His perfect match is someone who is home often, understands cat body language, and can offer a pet- and kid-free environment (previous cat relations haven't gone well). To welcome Kenzie into your life, you'll need to meet him at his foster home; same-day adoptions aren’t offered, and you should be in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
