About Niles
Niles has been through a lot since arriving at the rescue as a baby. Early on, he survived a frightening health crisis—a small scab on his toe came loose and nearly cost him his life. Emergency trips to the vet and vitamin K became part of daily life, as he was a hemophiliac for a time. Fortunately, after a long recovery, Niles is now healthy, and it turns out his illness may have been due to having eaten a mouse exposed to poison before his rescue. He’s since fully recovered and no longer has hemophilia. Niles is neutered, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, vaccinated, and microchipped with Home Again. His coat is short, showing off handsome brown tabby and white markings. His birthday is August 8, 2018, so he’s a Leo—expect an outgoing and loyal spirit. Niles gets along with other cats and has grown into a resilient, affectionate companion, ready for a safe and loving home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
