Sandy is house trained and currently in the care of Miracles for Satos Rescue. She is crate and leash trained, gentle, friendly, and adores affection.

At about 1 year and 7 months old, this stunning, medium-sized girl comes with a beautiful short yellow and blond coat and weighs in at a lovely 48 pounds (as of August 2025). Sandy’s sparkling personality is what really sets her apart—she’s friendly, gentle, and playful, bringing joy wherever she goes. Sandy is not only eager to make new dog friends but is also a true social butterfly. She loves to bound around the outdoors, relishing every moment on a leash by your side, and has a soft spot for dog-appropriate fruits and veggies. With crate and leash training already mastered and being house trained, she’s ready for all of life’s big adventures (and the cozy snuggles that follow). Sandy craves belly rubs and will never say no to kisses and cuddling up by your side—an ideal companion for affection-filled days. She’s hoping for a playful, loving home where daily exercise and meaningful time together keeps her content. Bonus joy: her sister, Candy Cane, is also looking for a forever home—what fun it would be to welcome both! Sandy is currently in Puerto Rico and will fly to the States once she finds her match, requiring a bit of patience and preparation, but her sweet spirit makes it worth the wait.
