Hi! My name is Mavis. I came to MHAA with my friend Firestone after we were dumped on a good Samaritan's property who unfortunately could not keep us but wanted to find us a better life. I am a very friendly cat who loves to play and be pet. I am very curious and love to stick my adorable pink nose in closets and cabinets and explore every inch of the shelter! I am so happy when you spend time with me and I would love to meet you. I had some urinary issues in the past and need to stay on a prescription diet for the time being. I have a mild heart condition that is well managed. The staff at MHAA can tell you more about that. You can come meet me anytime Wednesday through Monday between 12-4pm, no appointment needed (Tuesdays we are open by appointment only).
