About Sugar
Sugar spent her early days in a house crowded with over 50 cats, enduring tough conditions but never losing her gentle disposition. Thanks to a caring surrender, she’s come through a rough patch, now feeling strong and restored to good health. She’s been vaccinated, wormed, spayed, and tested negative for FELV, but is FIV-positive. FIV isn’t something to fear—Sugar’s immune system might be a bit weaker, but with routine care, cats with FIV thrive for years. She’s fine to live with other cats, as FIV only spreads through mating or serious fights, not casual contact like grooming or sharing food. Sugar is house trained and gets along with other cats, making her a real candidate for a multi-feline household. Sugar needs to be adopted in person and must leave the shelter in a carrier. Stop by between noon and 4 (except Mondays and Wednesdays) for a meet and greet. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
