About Moose

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Moose! Moose is a 6-month-old, 42 lb. sweetheart currently thriving in foster care. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, especially his siblings, and is quickly becoming more comfortable with the resident pups each day. With children, Moose is gentle and playful, offering a great mix of lively puppy energy and relaxing couch potato vibes—perfect for both lazy days and fun adventures. Moose already responds to "sit" and "lay down" and is working on mastering his recall. While he doesn't get much leash practice due to having a spacious backyard, he's adjusting well to leash walks with just minor hesitation. Moose’s loving and affectionate nature means he’s always ready for cuddles and will shower you with kisses. Still perfecting his manners when it comes to staying down in his excitement for attention, he’s highly food-motivated and responsive to training with treats. His love for chewing means that sturdy toys are a must for him! Currently, Moose is also learning to settle quietly in his kennel at bedtime and during busy moments in the home. He’s still building his confidence with new experiences and is getting braver every day. The ideal family for Moose will be patient, affectionate, and consistent with his training, making sure he continues to grow into a well-adjusted companion. Don't forget those chew toys and lots of love! Start your journey together! Apply now.
