Missy is a young, small female domestic short hair living in Melrose, MA. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Missy is house trained and has ongoing special medical needs that require daily treatment. She will need to be the only cat in her new home.

About Missy

Say hello to Missy, a domestic short hair surrendered because of her skin disease. She has an autoimmune condition that leaves her with scabs and caused her a lot of discomfort and pain before coming into care. Luckily, an experienced foster stepped in, started her on treatment, and Missy’s doing much better now. She’s turned into a true lap cat who is happiest sleeping on her foster’s lap and getting petted. Missy sometimes does zoomies around the house and enjoys her cat tower, and she still kneads biscuits when she’s content. She’s not a good fit with other cats or dogs and should be the only cat in the home. Missy will need to stay on Prednisone for life—this is the only treatment that keeps her comfortable, and some of her medication will be provided for her adopter. Her adoption fee is just $25. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
