About Missy

Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Missy! This sweet cat was given up because of a skin condition, an autoimmune disease that once caused her discomfort and scabs all over her body. Thanks to a dedicated and experienced foster, Missy received immediate care and has transformed into a happy, healthy companion. She's now free from pain and thrives in her foster home. Missy adores attention—she loves being petted and is a true lap cat, often curling up on her foster's lap. When she's not soaking in affection, she can be found making biscuits, running playful zoomies, or hanging out in her favorite cat tower. While Missy shines as a solo star, she doesn't enjoy the company of other cats and would prefer to be the only feline in your home. To keep her healthy, Missy needs to stay on Prednisone for life, which is the only medication that effectively manages her condition. This long-term treatment comes with her adoption—a supply of Prednisone will be provided, and her adoption fee is reduced to $25 to help her find the loving home she deserves. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
