Meeka
AvailableMeeka is a medium-sized, tricolor (brown, black, and white) female German Shepherd Dog mix currently at Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy. She is an adult who has been spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. Meeka was born with deformed legs and is polydactyl, using three legs to walk, but remains spirited and active. She is looking for a loving family willing to open their home to her and her best friend Meggy.
About Meeka
This could be the start of something paw-some. Meet Meeka, a sweet, playful, and energetic pup who absolutely loves running around and playing tug with her doggie friends. There’s never a dull moment with this goofy girl—fetch and tug-of-war are her favorite games and she enjoys every moment spent with another canine companion. Meeka gets along well with other dogs, but slow introductions are important to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. Her best friend is a little blind pup named Meggy, and these two are inseparable—they need to be adopted together to continue their adventures as a loving duo. Though Meeka’s start in life wasn’t easy, as she was abandoned as a puppy and born with deformed legs, her spirit is unstoppable. She uses three legs to walk and has extra toes (she's polydactyl!), but none of that slows her down—she plays her heart out, embracing everything with contagious joy. Meeka doesn’t see herself as different; she just loves life and everyone in it! As a fun fact, she is a Virgo—known for their playful energy and big hearts. Ready to fall in love?
