About Buddy
Buddy’s story starts in Miami, where his future looked bleak, but a group of dedicated people stepped in just in time. Now he’s miles away, loving life, and chasing his dream of finally finding a place to belong. He lives for belly rubs, play sessions with squeaky toys, and can turn on the charm (or sass) with a look. Under that goofy surface, Buddy is a determined, high-energy Bull Terrier who needs real structure and ongoing basic training to channel his spirit. His social side shines around people and dogs his own size, but he’s not a fit for homes with small dogs or small animals. Buddy has a streak of mischief but brings a contagious enthusiasm that makes every day more interesting. If you want a laid-back lapdog, Buddy isn’t your match—he’s driven, strong, and bursting with personality. Adopters must understand these breed traits and be ready for an active companion. You’ll need to schedule a meeting in advance (no walk-ins allowed) to get to know him in person. After all he’s been through, Buddy is due for someone who sees and embraces his spark. Questions about Buddy
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Buddy, as a Bull Terrier, does best in a home that offers consistent structure and plenty of both physical and mental stimulation. A house with a secure yard is a plus. Apartments can work for this breed if their exercise needs are met, but space and an engaged owner are key.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Bull Terriers like Buddy thrive with access to outdoor areas where they can run and play. A fenced yard is ideal, but daily walks and playtime can substitute if you’re active and dedicated.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Buddy’s breed, the Bull Terrier, is generally good with children, especially if raised together and properly supervised. Their energetic style means play can get rowdy, so families with sturdy kids do best.
