Otis was taken in from a Santa Fe Springs neighborhood in February 2022. Initially part of a TNR project, he ended up needing much more care after his painful eye condition, entropion, was discovered—his eyelids used to roll inward, but thanks to corrective surgery, he now sees just fine. Last year brought two significant dental procedures, too, costing most of his teeth. Having spent years quietly dealing with discomfort, Otis keeps to himself at first and prefers a gentle approach.
