Louie found himself in our care through no fault of his own. His previous owner had to move into a nursing home and, sadly, won’t be returning. Left to fend for himself along with his feline housemate, Louie has now been rescued, safe, and well-cared for—but what he really needs is a forever home. Despite the upheaval in his life, Louie remains playful and loving. Though he may be a little shy at first, he quickly warms up and becomes your best friend. He absolutely loves to be petted and is a young dog who still has that fun, puppy-like energy. Louie is full-grown but hasn’t lost his youthful spirit. He’s already adapted well to using a pet door, and while he hasn’t interacted with cats in his current foster home, he did live peacefully with one before. Louie is ready to bring his sweet, playful energy to a home that will love him just as much as he’ll love them.
