Livia, known around her foster home as Princess Livia, is a bright, strong-willed Neapolitan Mastiff looking for the right family. At over four years old, she’s established her royal status: she enjoys play time, but values long, snore-filled naps even more—preferably on something soft. Livia is housebroken and crate trained, though she expects bribes (treats) to enter the crate. She has a firm opinion about her comforts and won't hesitate to express it. She’s been learning to relax around food and attention, as her foster has shown her there's enough to go around. Livia shows devotion to her chosen human, never passing up a chance for a belly rub, scratch, or even a soothing brush or vacuum session. She does best as the only pet—her presence is commanding, and she gets easily riled around other cats and dogs. An experienced adopter is a must, one who can keep up with her strength and manage her when she’s feeling stubborn on the leash.
