Simon
AvailableSimon is a large, male mixed breed who is about 4 years and 5 months old and currently in Meridian, ID. He is neutered, house trained, and up to date on vaccinations. About Simon
Simon is an oversized goofball with a real heart of gold. At 3 years old, he's full of energy, wit, and pure comic timing. Simon lights up on walks, showing off impressive loose-leash manners, and nothing makes him happier than a sturdy tennis ball or a good game of fetch. Around thirty minutes of play a day keeps him content, but he’s equally happy to work his way through a pile of chew toys if you’re busy (and yes, your shoes are safe). He’s crate-trained, mat-trained, and shows off his toy collection with pride, always eager for tug-of-war—though relinquishing the toy isn’t exactly his strong suit yet! While Simon has overcome a tough past, he’s worked closely with trainers to develop self-soothing skills. Occasionally, he’ll chew his leash if overwhelmed, but with ongoing guidance, he gets better every day. If you’ve had a rough time, Simon’s goofball antics and deep snuggles will keep you laughing and remind you you’re not in it alone. This gentle giant is best matched with families who have kids over 7, as smaller children might be overwhelmed by his bouncy enthusiasm. Simon enjoys the company of other dogs, even if his play style can be a bit exuberant. He's not the right fit for a home with cats. If you want big love, endless laughs, and the steadfast loyalty of a silly best friend, Simon is the one to meet. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
